The remote control does

not work

1. Battery could be dead, depleted or not

correctly installed

2. Remote is not pointed directly at the unit

3. Remote control distance is out of range

1. Replace battery. Ensure the battery is correctly installed

2. Aim the remote at the small square in the middle of the

control display

3. Remote effective distance approx. 5m

Odour coming from

the air outlet

1. Filter may be heavily soiled and due for

replacement

1. Replace ﬁlter
